Privacy policy
Short version: we collect what you type into the form, we give it to one tree company so they can call you, and we do not sell it.
What we collect
- The quote form: your name, phone number, email, town, the service you want and a description of the job.
- Calls: the number on this site is answered by an automated assistant that asks for your town, the service you want, the size of the tree, your name and a callback number (and an email if you offer one). The greeting tells you: “This call is transcribed and shared with that company.” That means the call is transcribed to text (we do not keep an audio recording) and the details you give are shared with one local tree company. Our phone and voice providers also log your number, the time and the length of the call. If you would rather not be transcribed, hang up and use the quote form instead.
- Technical data: to limit abuse, the quote service keeps a keyed hash of your network address for a daily rate limit. It is not your address and cannot be reversed by us.
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads no third-party scripts, fonts or ads.
Who sees it
Each quote request, and each call, is shared with one independent local tree company so they can contact you about it. We do not sell your information, rent it to lists, or share it with other advertisers. Our service providers (hosting, phone and email) process data for us only to run the site. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
Calls and texts
By submitting the form you agree that the company receiving your request may call or text you about that request. Reply STOP to a text, or tell the caller, to stop. Giving your number is not a condition of buying anything from anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep a quote request only as long as we need it to run the referral and sort out any dispute about it, and we delete it when you ask. Once a contractor has your request, the contractor's own policy covers what it keeps.
Your choices
To see, correct or delete your information, write to quotes@localtreequotes.com from any address and include the phone number you used. We will reply and act on it. Residents of states with privacy laws may have additional rights, which we will honor.
Children
This site is for adults who own or manage property. It is not directed to children.
